I will not be posting any more images because all of my photo equipment was stolen.

No idea if insurance will cover anything and even if they do, I have no clue which camera to get as will definitely not be able to afford the 5D and those lenses again.

It was nice while it lasted.

After that freak freeze we had that killed off all the emerging flowers, my desert willow tree (that I grew from seed) started blooming again. Then we had a week of rain which rotted all the emerging blooms. Now I have flowers again. Poor tree has had a hard time this year.

Not just any Crabapple Blossom photo! This one was taken with my 5D. I had been using my KM A2 again, but was so disappointed with all the noise - as you can tell from the previous images. I had been thinking (past tense) of selling off my 5D and all my DSLR equipment, but will need to find a much better fixed lens camera before I ever consider it again!

Oh, BTW, at least my Hana Lily is a Finalist at Better Photo! WooHoo! I KNOW I should have used that one for the January Free Study at DPC (sigh).

Geez, I have fallen way behind again... This time I had a good reason. My website (http://gimmesweeps.com/) crashed on Valentines Day and it took well over 18 hours just to get the barebones site back up again. I keep working on it every day and that is what I am doing with my time. I have not picked up my camera for awhile - except for that tree challenge - only to find out that it does not count towards WPL?? That stinks :(

I found this out past Dragon's Teeth. I asked locals what this was and no one could tell me. It is a maze constructed of white stones with a small path leading to the center and flowers placed in there. I like that I was able to capture the whole thing with my fisheye.

In Hana, Maui, this resort boasts no TVs or telephones in the rooms and charges a whole lot more than your local Motel 6, which happens to have both of those items in all their rooms :)

With this one, I could not resist working a bit of PS magic on it and I like the look. These are surfboards I found at Hana Bay and since this is the place where Peter, Paul & Mary's Puff the Magic Dragon frolicked, the effects seem apropos :)

Hey, I can barely walk around these areas on Maui, up and down, up and down. Some actually decide to further their pain by biking these awful roads! Here are two I snuck a picture of while stopped at a"pullout".

Makalua-puna Point: this is what they call Dragon's Teeth. This is a stretch of lava going into the sea and it was an amazing journey out there! I found amazing stuff out there to photograph.
